Triangle Mountain is home to numerous residents as the area has developed over the years. During the Second World War, the area was turned into a command post and was part of a coastal defence system. Triangle Mountain is now filled with homes, as opposed to a fortress of soldiers and defence batteries.
Lookout Lake is one of Colwood’s hidden gems. Perched up high on Triangle Mountain, it’s a local favourite for swimming, picnics, hikes and shoreline fishing.
Residents of Triangle neighbourhood visit the business centres of nearby Colwood Corners, Hatley Park or the neighbouring town of Langford for shopping and other services.
